Welblogic 9.2 application events, anyone?

hi,

we have a problem when deploying an EAR on WLS 9.2.2. The EAR specifies application lifecycle event listener in weblogic-application.xml, but the fact is that the event takes about an hour to get fired, and after it does, the server craches... Any ideas/troubleshooting tips welcome...

I have seen some related issues with portlet impl - are you using portlets?

It might be helpful to perform a thread dump/ JVM core dump to find out exactly what is happening in the JVM.

Do you have the exact JVM crash error code?
Are you running on Solaris by any chance?
Are you using native IO on WebLogic?
